All of our Personal Checking Accounts include:
We're small enough to know you by name and large enough to handle all your banking needs. Contact us today to set up the right account for you.
Overdraft Coverage comes with your Personal Checking Accounts. Security State Bank & Trust will strive at its discretion to pay non-sufficient funds items (except ATM withdrawals and daily debit card transactions) presented against your account instead of returning the items unpaid. There is no fee for this service if unused. You are only charged $30 per item if you have an overdraft.
Adding "PLUS" to your Overdraft Coverage includes that Security State Bank & Trust strives at its discretion to pay all types of non-sufficient funds items including daily debit card transactions presented against your account instead of returning the items unpaid. There is no fee for this service if unused. You are only charged $30 per item if you have an overdraft.
Overdraft Transfer allows us to automatically transfer money to your checking account from another deposit account. You choose the account you want linked as coverage. If you do not overdraw your account, you will not be charged. If you do overdraw your account, there is a $7.00 fee per transfer to cover the total overdraft at end of day processing.
We reserve the right to, at any time, require not less than 7 days notice in writing before each withdrawal from an interest-bearing account other than a time deposit, or from any other savings account as defined by Reg D.
Security State Bank & Trust: Notice of changes in temporary FDIC insurance coverage for transaction accounts: By operations of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a non-interest bearing transaction account (Including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Beginning, January 1, 2013, all of a depositor's accounts at an insured depository institution, including all non-interest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount ($250,000.00), for each deposit insurance ownership category.
