Human Resources Assistant

  • Gather new hire paperwork and present to new hires
  • Payroll – Includes working up time cards, calculate payroll, and balancing payroll
  • Insurance – Enroll employees in insurance plans, work up insurance bills, and answer insurance questions
  • Promote Wellness program and related activities
  • 401(k) – Update spreadsheets each payroll, includes preparing wire, G.L. tickets, transmit files via the internet, coordinating open enrollments
  • Cafeteria Plan – Help with coordinating open enrollments, payroll deductions, and reconciling plan monthly
  • Monthly – Prepare annual and 90-day reviews for all employees
  • Quarterly and annually – help with balancing payroll overall, preparing annual and quarterly reports to the IRS and Texas Workforce Commission
  • Sales & Service – Help with open houses and various events throughout the year
  • Training – Coordinate training for new hires and transferred employees

Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Duties
  • Call and visit prospective referral sources for the solicitation of mortgage loans in accordance with company standards and loan production goals
  • Assist prospective borrowers in the proper completion of loan applications
  • Provide required disclosures
  • Collect funds for services to be ordered
  • Gather necessary support documents from prospective borrowers
  • Provide customer assistance in the selection of loan programs that best fit their needs
  • Disclose loan terms
  • Lock in loan interest rates
  • Coordinate with realtors and borrowers by providing answers to any questions on loan status updates
  • Provide any significant changes to loan terms or closing dates
  • Coordinate the loan processing efforts by communicating loan status between borrowers and processors
  • Monitor the loan process to ensure loans close and fund on the date specified by the borrower
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least three year’s outside sales and mortgage loan experience
  • Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and telephone etiquette skills
  • Must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, and exercise sound judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of personal computers to include MS Word, Excel, Loan Origination software (preferably Encompass) and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Must have a current Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel locally
